Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks (e.g., 5-ton, 10-ton, articulated trucks) for delivery purposes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo securement.
- Adhere strictly to assigned delivery schedules and routes, managing time effectively.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records of merchandise, and other essential documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and internal teams regarding delivery status or issues.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
