You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a company-provided vehicle, primarily for the transportation of various goods across Ketti, Abuja, and its environs. A significant part of your role involves meticulously planning and executing delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption while strictly adhering to delivery schedules and deadlines. You will be tasked with performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, ensuring it is always in optimal working condition and promptly reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle for the transportation of goods and, occasionally, personnel.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, optimizing time and fuel consumption.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring their security and integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, invoices, and daily trip sheets.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and partners.
- Respond promptly to dispatch instructions and adapt to route changes or unexpected delays.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.

Required Skills
- Valid Class E driver's license (or equivalent Nigerian commercial driver's license)
- Minimum of 2 years proven professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Excellent knowledge of Ketti, Abuja road networks and surrounding areas
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages safely
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and routine maintenance
