Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Execute daily delivery and pickup schedules, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods and personnel.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of the assigned company vehicle.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo to prevent damage.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, manifests, and expense reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices, including defensive driving techniques.
- Represent Career.supersecrets professionally and courteously during all interactions.
- Assist with other general logistics and administrative tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major accidents or traffic violations)
- Thorough knowledge of Abuja road networks and routes
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, water, tires, lights)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- High level of integrity, reliability, and punctuality
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and prolonged driving
