Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods, documents, or personnel as required.
- Maintain a detailed logbook of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and service records.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance checks (oil, water, tires, lights, etc.) and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on schedule and that items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading items as needed, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously to clients and the public.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and tidy at all times.
- Adapt to varying delivery schedules and routes as per operational needs.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or G preferred).
- Proven safe driving record with no major violations.
- Excellent knowledge of Abuja road networks and traffic regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years professional driving experience.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
