Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles for the transportation of goods and personnel.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries within Abuja and surrounding areas.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, adhering to all safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and internal teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the assigned company vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and partners.
- Assist with other logistical duties as required by management.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s License (Class E or G preferred)
- Proven experience as a professional driver in logistics or delivery.
- Impeccable driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations.
- Thorough knowledge of Abuja road networks, traffic laws, and alternative routes.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently.
