Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle for the transport of goods and personnel across Abuja and its environs.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, considering traffic and time constraints.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip (oil, tires, lights, fuel, etc.).
- Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and internal staff regarding delivery status or issues.
- Ensure the cleanliness and general maintenance of the company vehicle.
- Handle all documentation (e.g., waybills, delivery notes) with care and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or G preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major accidents or violations)
- Excellent knowledge of Abuja road networks, including Jikwoyi
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
