Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles for the transportation of goods, documents, and personnel.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries and pick-ups.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and service schedules.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned company vehicle.
- Assist with loading and unloading items as required, ensuring their secure placement.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status or any unforeseen delays.
- Handle sensitive documents and valuable goods with utmost care and confidentiality.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E minimum)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
- Excellent knowledge of Abuja road networks and traffic regulations
- Proven track record of safe driving practices and a clean driving record
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages as needed
