Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods, documents, and personnel.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the company vehicle at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading items as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Represent the company professionally during all interactions with clients, partners, and the public.
- Maintain communication with dispatch or supervisors to provide updates on delivery status or any unforeseen delays.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s License (Class G minimum)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Thorough knowledge of Abuja road networks and traffic regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.
