Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles at designated checkpoints.
- Verify driver credentials, vehicle documentation, and cargo manifests against established protocols.
- Accurately record vehicle entry and exit times, driver information, and other relevant data into logs or digital systems.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, visitors, and internal staff, providing instructions and answering queries.
- Report any discrepancies, unusual activities, or security breaches immediately to supervisory personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure checkpoint area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety, security, and operational policies and procedures.
- Assist with traffic management and pedestrian control at the checkpoint as required.
- Operate basic checkpoint equipment such as barrier systems or handheld scanners, if applicable, after receiving training.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient operational environment through teamwork and proactive support.
Required Skills
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and adhere to established procedures.

- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
