Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of merchandise.
- Verify product quantities and types against delivery manifests and invoices.
- Help navigate routes efficiently and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle's cargo area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks of the vehicle, reporting any defects or issues to the driver.
- Interact professionally with store personnel and customers during deliveries.
- Ensure all delivery documentation is accurately completed and submitted.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle any delivery-related inquiries courteously.
- Assist with other logistical tasks as required to support efficient operations.
