Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD software under the guidance of senior staff.
- Assist in the revision and modification of existing drawings based on red-line markups and design changes.
- Maintain organized digital archives of drawings and project documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project managers through virtual communication channels.
- Adhere strictly to industry standards, company drafting guidelines, and project specifications.
- Perform basic calculations and material take-offs as required for design documentation.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and project understanding.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Basic understanding of drafting principles, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work produced.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- A foundational understanding of relevant building codes or engineering standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant diploma or certification in drafting, CAD technology, engineering, or a related field.
