Job Description

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Doctor to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat patients across a broad spectrum of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals (nurses, specialists, etc.).
  • Provide patient education and counseling.
  • Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical regulations and ethical guidelines.

Required Skills

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited residency program
  • Current medical license in the State of Michigan
  • Excellent diagnostic and treatment skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
  • Experience with a specific patient population (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics)
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with telehealth technology
