Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing machines and manual pot washing stations efficiently and safely.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils according to hotel standards and health regulations.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, including floors, walls, and work surfaces, are clean and hygienic at all times.
- Remove trash and recyclables, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
- Assist in the organization and storage of cleaned items, ensuring they are readily available for use.
- Support the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as peeling vegetables or stocking shelves.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures for handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to management.
