Key Responsibilities
- Setting up dining areas before service, including arranging tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and condiments according to establishment standards.
- Assisting servers and other dining room staff in delivering food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously.
- Clearing tables promptly after guests depart, ensuring all dishes, glasses, and utensils are removed.
- Wiping down tables and chairs, and resetting them for the next guests with attention to cleanliness and presentation.
- Refilling water glasses, bread baskets, and other guest amenities as needed throughout service.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, and tidying service stations.
- Restocking supplies such as napkins, condiments, and clean linens.
- Assisting with the washing and polishing of cutlery and glassware when required.
- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure seamless service.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Responding to guest requests and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Supporting special events and private dining functions as needed.
