Key Responsibilities
- Assist registered dieticians in preparing and organizing patient educational materials and resources.
- Collect and document patient dietary information and preferences under supervision.
- Support dieticians in monitoring patient food intake and identifying any immediate concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring proper data entry.
- Help organize and tidy work areas, ensuring a clean and functional environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members with compassion and professionalism.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments or follow-up calls.
- Prepare basic nutritional supplements or special diet components as directed.
- Observe and learn from registered dieticians during patient consultations and team meetings.
