Key Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Dietitians with patient screening, data collection, and documentation related to nutritional assessments.
- Prepare and distribute educational materials to patients and families under the guidance of a dietitian.
- Help monitor patient dietary intake and report any significant changes or concerns to the dietitian.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nutrition office, including filing, inventory, and supply management.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing correspondence.
- Assist with menu planning and food preparation oversight, ensuring adherence to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Liaise with food service staff to communicate patient needs and ensure accurate meal delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous learning opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and confidentiality policies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
