Key Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Dietitians with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and handling correspondence.
- Prepare and organize educational materials, handouts, and resources for clients, ensuring they are current and accessible.
- Accurately maintain and update client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Support the intake process by gathering preliminary client information and health histories as directed.
- Help manage inventory of office supplies and nutrition-related materials, placing orders as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the consultation rooms and general office areas.
- Shadow Dietitians during client consultations to learn about nutritional assessments, counseling techniques, and program development.
- Assist with data entry and basic reporting related to client progress and program effectiveness.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between clients and dietitians, answering general inquiries.
- Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the practice.
