Key Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Dietitians with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and preparing documentation.
- Prepare and organize educational materials for patient consultations and group sessions.
- Support in gathering and inputting patient data for nutritional assessments and progress tracking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nutrition department's work areas and resource library.
- Assist with inventory management of nutritional supplements and educational supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members under the guidance of a Registered Dietitian.
- Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Help facilitate patient flow and ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment.
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and confidentiality regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
