Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Adyen, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure that powers our global payment platform. Our systems handle billions of transactions annually, operating with extreme reliability and low latency. You’ll work within a highly skilled engineering team, bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring our software releases are seamless, our systems are resilient, and our performance is optimized. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, automation, continuous integration/delivery, and robust monitoring solutions. You will be a key contributor to our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) culture, driving best practices for operational excellence, disaster recovery, and security.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment, eager to learn new technologies, and passionate about creating scalable and fault-tolerant systems. You’ll contribute to the entire lifecycle of services, from design and deployment to operation and continuous improvement, working closely with software engineers to optimize applications for production. Expect to tackle complex problems daily, collaborate across teams, and significantly impact Adyen’s ability to process payments reliably for businesses worldwide. Your contributions will directly enable our merchants to grow and expand their operations without worrying about payment infrastructure limitations. This is a unique opportunity to work on a platform that is critical to global commerce.
