Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds, testing, and deployments across multiple environments.
- Manage and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of services.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational processes, reducing manual intervention.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the infrastructure and deployment process, from design to operations.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide prompt support for critical systems and ensure service continuity (if applicable).
- Document system architectures, configurations, processes, and operational procedures comprehensively.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve efficiency, system performance, and developer experience.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar infrastructure role.
- Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems, including administration and troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrable experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automation.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, distributed systems, and security best practices in cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Cloud provider certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.
