Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, passionate, and dedicated Dentist to join our professional team at Smile 360 Dental Specialists in Wuse, Abuja. The ideal candidate will be a professional committed to delivering excellent patient care, upholding the highest standards of clinical practice, and contributing positively to our team environment. This role involves performing a wide range of general dental procedures, diagnosing oral conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and educating patients on optimal oral hygiene. You will work within a modern clinic equipped with advanced dental technology, supported by experienced dental assistants and administrative staff. Our focus is on providing a seamless and positive experience for every patient, from routine check-ups to complex restorative and cosmetic treatments. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive oral examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Execute a full scope of general dentistry procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, and bridges.
  • Conduct cosmetic dental procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with professional and legal standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
  • Adhere to strict infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry.

Required Skills

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid dental license to practice in Nigeria.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience as a practicing dentist.
  • Proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including restorative, endodontic, and exodontic treatments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital dentistry technologies (e.g., intraoral scanners, digital X-rays).
  • Certification or advanced training in specific areas such as orthodontics, implantology, or cosmetic dentistry.
  • Fluency in additional local languages.
