Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments before and after each patient appointment.
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit, providing reassurance and clear instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and appointment details.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage and organize dental supplies and inventory, ensuring timely reordering to prevent shortages.
- Perform basic laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and preparing custom trays.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Process and develop dental X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dental clinic at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all infection control and health and safety guidelines.
