Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Dental Clinic Assistant to join a dynamic and patient-focused dental practice in Thika, Kiambu County. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments before and after each patient appointment.
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit, providing reassurance and clear instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and appointment details.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
  • Manage and organize dental supplies and inventory, ensuring timely reordering to prevent shortages.
  • Perform basic laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and preparing custom trays.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic's calendar efficiently.
  • Process and develop dental X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dental clinic at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to all infection control and health and safety guidelines.
