Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of instruments and materials.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and dental practice guidelines.
- Assist the dentist chairside during various dental procedures, including passing instruments and managing suction.
- Greet and seat patients, ensuring their comfort and preparing them for treatment.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and chart information as directed by the dentist.
- Manage dental supply inventory, ordering new supplies as needed, and ensuring proper storage.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) under proper certification/supervision, if applicable.
- Perform basic laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns.
- Support front office operations by scheduling appointments and managing patient flow when needed.
- Ensure a calm and welcoming environment for all patients, addressing their concerns professionally.

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
