Naivas Supermarket is urgently seeking dedicated Delivery Helpers to strengthen our fast-paced Logistics Team in Isiolo, Isiolo County. This critical full-time position involves supporting the seamless movement of goods from our distribution points to various retail locations and, on occasion, directly to customer premises. You will collaborate closely with our experienced drivers, assisting with the careful loading, unloading, and systematic organization of inventory. Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of various goods from delivery vehicles.
- Verify the accuracy of loaded and unloaded products against manifests and delivery notes, reporting any discrepancies.
- Securely handle and transport diverse types of merchandise, implementing best practices to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist in navigating optimal delivery routes and ensuring timely deliveries to designated locations, including Naivas stores and customer homes.
- Interact professionally and courteously with store staff, customers, and other stakeholders during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas to ensure a professional appearance and safe operations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety regulations, and operational policies at all times.
- Promptly report any discrepancies, damages, delivery issues, or potential hazards to the logistics supervisor.
- Assist in packaging and preparing items for dispatch when required, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the logistics supervisor to ensure smooth logistical operations.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly (up to 25 kg/50 lbs).
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery schedules.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic literacy skills (ability to read delivery notes, labels, and communicate effectively in English or Kiswahili).
- Familiarity with Isiolo geographical area and local routes is a significant advantage.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 months of experience in a similar delivery, warehouse, or logistics support role.

- Valid First Aid training or certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance checks and pre-trip inspections.
