Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver a wide range of products to customers within the Mahikeng area.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, adhering to assigned schedules.
- Verify order accuracy and collect customer signatures upon delivery.
- Handle cash or card payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders, if required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good operating condition of the delivery vehicle (company-provided or own).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing customer queries professionally.
- Assist with loading and unloading products from the vehicle.
- Report any delivery issues, vehicle malfunctions, or customer feedback promptly to management.
- Represent Checker Hyper Mahikeng professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Code 8 (B) or higher South African driving license.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with Mahikeng and surrounding areas.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25kg) and perform physical tasks associated with deliveries.
