Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations within Bethlehem and surrounding areas.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Load, unload, and secure items properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy with recipients and obtain necessary signatures.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine checks for safety and maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction.
Required Skills
- Valid South African driving license (Code B or higher)
- Clean driving record
- Excellent knowledge of Bethlehem and surrounding areas
