Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Delivery Driver with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles.
- Verify the accuracy of merchandise against delivery manifests and customer orders.
- Help navigate delivery routes using provided maps or GPS, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns politely.
- Ensure all delivered items are in excellent condition and properly placed at the customer's designated area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle's cargo area.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Assist with basic stock rotation and organisation within the vehicle as needed.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues encountered during deliveries to the supervisor.
- Handle delivery documentation accurately and ensure proper sign-off.
