Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport and deliver a wide range of packages and documents to various destinations within Thohoyandou and surrounding areas.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes in the most efficient manner, utilising navigation tools and local knowledge.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery manifests against physical packages before departure and upon delivery.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit and delivery.
- Obtain necessary signatures and complete all required documentation accurately for proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid South African driving license (Code B/8 or higher).
- Proven clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of Thohoyandou and surrounding areas.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to load, unload, and carry packages.

Preferred Qualifications
