Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading parcels from delivery vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Support in planning and optimizing delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service within Surulere and surrounding areas.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks of vehicles to ensure they are clean and in good working order.
- Verify packages against delivery manifests, accurately documenting all deliveries and collections.
- Interact professionally with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and resolving minor issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the sorting facility and delivery vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding delivery status, challenges, or customer feedback.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 25kg) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Attention to detail for accurate parcel verification and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of navigating city streets and using GPS devices.
