Key Responsibilities
- Assist the primary delivery driver with loading, unloading, and organizing parcels efficiently at the warehouse and during delivery routes.
- Ensure all packages are secured safely in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.
- Navigate routes effectively using maps or GPS, assisting the driver in identifying optimal delivery paths.
- Deliver parcels to designated addresses promptly and accurately, obtaining necessary signatures or confirmations.
- Handle customer interactions professionally and address immediate concerns.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand maps or use GPS devices.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25kg repeatedly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery, logistics, or related customer service role is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lagos road networks and traffic patterns.
- SSCE or OND qualification.
