Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input large volumes of data from various sources (e.g., invoices, reports, customer information, product details) into company databases and systems.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness, meticulously correcting any discrepancies or errors identified.
- Maintain and update existing data records to ensure information is consistently current, reliable, and consistent.
- Organize and file documents, both physical and digital, systematically for easy retrieval and auditing purposes.
- Perform regular data quality checks and assist in ongoing data clean-up projects to enhance data integrity.
- Generate basic reports and summaries from compiled data as required by supervisors or other departments.
- Adhere strictly to all data entry policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines to protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure timely completion of data entry tasks and project deadlines.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven data entry experience or a demonstrated ability to type accurately and efficiently with speed (e.g., minimum 40 WPM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (for data handling) and Word (for documentation).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a consistently high level of accuracy in all tasks.
