Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources for analytical purposes.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, translating complex data into clear, actionable visualizations.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing insights that drive strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver relevant, impactful reporting solutions.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reports and analyses.
- Document data models, definitions, and reporting processes to maintain data governance and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in data governance initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.
- Present findings and recommendations to business users and leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling (DAX), dashboard design, and report publication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) or data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages like Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Experience with SAP systems (e.g., SAP BW, SAP HANA) is a plus.
