We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst with a strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI to join our dynamic team in Rīga. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from various databases.
- Design, build, and publish interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key business metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with business units to understand reporting and analytical requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
- Perform in-depth ad-hoc data analysis to identify opportunities, detect anomalies, and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all data sources and reporting solutions.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Participate in data governance initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices.
- Train and support end-users on how to effectively utilize data tools and reports.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI for data modeling, visualization, and dashboard development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.

- Knowledge of the Latvian language.
