Job Description
Are you a meticulous digital detective with an unyielding passion for unravelling complex cyber mysteries? Sopra Steria, a European leader in digital transformation, is actively seeking a talented and dedicated Cyber Forensics Investigator to augment our dynamic cybersecurity team based in our bustling Paris office. In an increasingly interconnected and threat-laden global landscape, the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of digital assets are not merely important, but absolutely paramount. Our diverse clientele, spanning from critical government agencies to vast multinational enterprises, places their trust in our unparalleled expertise to safeguard their invaluable data and to respond with precision and agility to the most sophisticated cyber threats.
As a Cyber Forensics Investigator, you will assume a critical and frontline role within our comprehensive incident response lifecycle. Your core responsibilities will include performing in-depth, meticulous analysis of security breaches, adeptly identifying elusive attack vectors, and meticulously piecing together fragments of digital evidence to reconstruct events and understand the full scope and impact of an incident. You will be at the vanguard of protecting our clients from the insidious menace of advanced persistent threats (APTs), debilitating ransomware attacks, sensitive data breaches, and a myriad of other malicious activities orchestrated by determined adversaries.
This pivotal role demands a uniquely sharp analytical mind, coupled with deep technical proficiency across a multitude of operating systems, intricate network infrastructures, cloud environments, and an unwavering commitment to the highest ethical investigation practices. Your contributions will extend beyond merely identifying the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of a cyberattack; you will significantly contribute to strengthening future defensive postures, refining security policies, and informing strategic security decisions that enhance organizational resilience. Furthermore, this position necessitates exceptional communication skills, enabling you to clearly and concisely articulate complex technical findings to a wide array of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, often under intense pressure. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive and legally sound forensic reports that can be leveraged for legal proceedings, regulatory compliance, or internal policy enhancements. Given the rapid evolution of the cyber threat landscape, continuous learning and professional development are not just encouraged, but are a fundamental cornerstone of this position. Sopra Steria offers an intellectually stimulating and collaborative environment where you can continuously expand your expertise, work with cutting-edge forensic tools and methodologies, and contribute to high-impact projects that genuinely make a difference in the global fight against cybercrime. Join us and become an integral part of a team dedicated to securing the digital future.
