Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, polished, and finished product ready for broadcasting or digital distribution.
- Manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that is seamless and invisible to the audience, maintaining narrative flow.
- Take a creative brief to thoroughly grasp the production team’s needs, objectives, and technical specifications.
- Review scripts, create detailed shot lists, and develop compelling storyboards to visualize concepts.
- Input and synchronize music, dialogues, voice-overs, graphics, and special effects to enhance video quality.
- Ensure logical sequencing, smooth transitions, and overall narrative coherence.
- Consult with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, and sales teams, throughout the production and post-production processes.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new editing technologies, software, and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and creative output.
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing specialists to ensure brand consistency and message alignment across all video content.
- Manage and organize all video project files, assets, media libraries, and archives effectively.
Required Skills
- Proven work experience (minimum 3 years) as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
- Solid experience with digital technology and professional editing software packages (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Thorough knowledge of timing, pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Exceptional creativity and a strong aesthetic sense, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Latvian and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Media Production, or a related creative field.
- Demonstrated experience with motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and visual effects.
- Familiarity with various video codecs, formats, compression techniques, and delivery platforms.

- Prior experience working in a corporate, marketing agency, or telecommunications industry environment.
