Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, both internal and external, to deter unauthorized activities and ensure the security of premises.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly and effectively to any suspicious activities or breaches.
- Control access to the building and restricted areas, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors, and maintaining accurate logs.
- Implement and enforce security procedures and protocols consistently to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
- Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security threats, following established protocols and coordinating with relevant authorities.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as required.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to employees and visitors, offering directions and information while upholding security standards.
- Conduct safety checks and identify potential hazards, reporting them for timely resolution to ensure a secure workplace.
- Operate and maintain security equipment, ensuring all systems are fully functional and reporting any malfunctions.
Required Skills
- Valid SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) certification is mandatory.
- Strong observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially during emergency situations.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system monitoring.
