We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Corporate Communications Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in shaping and maintaining Ayala Corporation’s public image, managing internal and external communications, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. The Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with our corporate objectives, enhance our reputation, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including media, investors, employees, and the general public. This position requires a leader who can navigate complex corporate environments, manage crises effectively, and possess exceptional storytelling abilities to convey our vision and impact. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies, plans, and initiatives that support Ayala Corporation's strategic goals and enhance brand reputation.
- Manage all aspects of media relations, including proactive pitching, responding to inquiries, drafting press releases, media advisories, and fact sheets, and building strong relationships with key journalists and media outlets.
- Oversee internal communications to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with company vision, values, and strategic priorities, utilizing various channels.
- Serve as a key point of contact for crisis communications, developing and executing crisis management plans to protect the company's reputation during challenging situations.
- Develop compelling content for various corporate communications channels, including the company website, annual reports, investor presentations, social media, and executive speeches.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage and communication campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with investor relations, marketing, human resources, and business unit teams to ensure integrated and consistent messaging.
- Manage and maintain corporate communication assets, including media kits, corporate profiles, and digital content libraries.
- Provide communication counsel and support to senior leadership and internal stakeholders on messaging, public speaking, and media engagements.
- Identify emerging trends and best practices in corporate communications to continuously evolve and elevate Ayala Corporation’s communication efforts.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, preferably within a large organization or agency.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a proven ability to craft engaging and persuasive content for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with journalists and managing media inquiries.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with experience in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies.
- Proven track record in crisis communications and issues management.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management and content creation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, MA in Communications).
- Experience working within a diversified conglomerate or a large publicly listed company.
- Familiarity with investor relations communications and reporting standards.
