Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit engaging and informative content for various media platforms (print, broadcast, digital, social media).
- Develop content strategies that align with SOICO's editorial calendar and strategic objectives.
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, grammatically correct, and adheres to SOICO's style guide and journalistic ethics.
- Collaborate with journalists, editors, graphic designers, and marketing teams to produce cohesive and compelling campaigns.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and reach.
- Adapt writing style and tone for different audiences and platforms, maintaining brand consistency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, current events in Mozambique, and best practices in content creation.
- Manage multiple writing projects concurrently, meeting strict deadlines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new content formats and topics.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Proven experience as a Content Writer, Journalist, or similar role.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt content for diverse audiences.
- Understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
