Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Content Creator to join our dynamic marketing team in Tokyo. This role is crucial for enhancing Capcom’s presence and engagement on our official Japanese YouTube channels. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and optimizing high-quality video content that showcases our diverse game titles, engages our massive fan base, and attracts new players. From exciting gameplay highlights and developer interviews to event coverage and community-focused videos, your work will directly contribute to building a stronger connection between Capcom and its global audience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative video content strategies aligned with Capcom's marketing goals and brand guidelines for YouTube.
- Plan, script, shoot (or coordinate shooting), and edit engaging videos, including trailers, gameplay showcases, developer diaries, community Q&As, and event recaps.
- Collaborate closely with game development teams, marketing managers, and PR specialists to ensure content accuracy and brand consistency.
- Manage the end-to-end production process, from concept ideation and pre-production to post-production and final delivery.
- Optimize video content for YouTube search (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails) to maximize visibility and audience reach.
- Monitor YouTube analytics and provide regular reports on video performance, audience engagement, and channel growth, using insights to refine future content strategy.
- Engage with the YouTube community by responding to comments and fostering a positive and interactive environment.
- Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and best practices for video content creation and distribution.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video content creation, editing, and production for digital platforms, especially YouTube.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Strong understanding of YouTube's platform, algorithms, content trends, and community engagement strategies.
- Excellent storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese (verbal and written) for scripting, voice-over, and community interaction.
- Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) for internal communication and international collaborations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating video production and editing capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the video game industry or a deep passion for gaming.
- Knowledge of Capcom's game franchises and community.
- Experience with live streaming production and platform management (e.g., Twitch, YouTube Live).
