Key Responsibilities
- Perform general construction labour duties, including site preparation, clean-up, and material handling.
- Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., carpenters, masons, electricians) with various tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Load and unload construction materials, and move them to designated areas.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and barricades.
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and backfill excavations as required.
- Assist in the pouring and finishing of concrete.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a construction worker or in a similar manual labour role.
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
