Key Responsibilities
- Perform various manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic hand and power tools.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers) with their tasks as required.
- Load and unload construction materials, ensuring proper storage and organization on site to maintain efficiency and safety.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, erecting scaffolding, and setting up temporary structures according to project plans.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations, protocols, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, disposing of waste materials properly and efficiently.
- Operate minor construction equipment such as mixers, compactors, and jackhammers under supervision, if trained and certified.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen precisely to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to specifications and timelines.
