Key Responsibilities
- Perform various physical labor tasks at construction sites, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and clearing debris.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., masons, carpenters, electricians) with their tasks.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., shovels, rakes, jackhammers, saws, drills).
- Load and unload construction materials, and distribute them to appropriate locations on site.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including tidying up work areas at the end of each shift.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen to ensure tasks are completed according to specifications.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to site management.
- Participate in site meetings and safety briefings as required.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Punctuality and reliability with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as project demands.
Preferred Qualifications
