Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Supervisor in overseeing daily on-site operations, ensuring strict adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor and rigorously enforce all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and protocols on site, conducting regular safety checks and promptly addressing any potential hazards or non-compliance issues.
- Support in the efficient coordination of subcontractors, various trades, and site personnel, ensuring seamless workflow, optimal resource utilization, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist in conducting thorough quality control inspections, meticulously identifying any defects or deviations, and ensuring that all work performed meets Alec's stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive site records, including daily activity logs, detailed progress reports, precise material inventories, and meticulous equipment usage records.
- Help manage incoming material deliveries, ensuring proper receiving, secure storage, and careful handling of construction materials to minimize waste, damage, and loss.
- Assist in resolving minor operational issues, logistical challenges, and potential conflicts on site, escalating more complex problems to the Site Supervisor as necessary.
- Facilitate clear, concise, and effective communication channels between the Site Supervisor, the broader project team, and all workers on site.
- Participate actively in site meetings, taking accurate notes, and contributing constructive input to discussions regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Ensure that all site activities are performed in full compliance with relevant building codes, industry standards, and local regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven foundational knowledge of construction methods, materials, and robust safety protocols.
- Exceptional observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of interacting effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and complex construction drawings.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, particularly the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

- Fluency in additional languages commonly spoken in the Dubai construction industry (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog).
