Key Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labour tasks, including loading, unloading, and distributing materials and equipment on site.
- Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, electricians) with their tasks as directed.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, removing hazards, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Dig trenches, shovel earth, and compact ground as required, using hand tools or small power tools.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades.
- Support concrete pouring activities, including preparing forms, mixing, and finishing concrete.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas regularly to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all site health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to site management.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers promptly and accurately.
- Assist in the demolition of minor structures and removal of waste materials.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and strength to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding outdoor environment, often in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications
