Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including waste disposal and material segregation.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines on site to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Transport materials manually or using equipment such as wheelbarrows.
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing processes.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned by the site supervisor or foreman.
- Support site setup and dismantle operations, including securing the site at day's end.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work comfortably in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
