Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Site Engineer to join our esteemed team in Makati City. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, identifying and resolving any deviations or issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain detailed daily progress reports, ensuring accurate documentation of site activities, resources, and materials.
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and other technical personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications, providing clarity and guidance to the construction team.
- Manage and allocate site resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity.
- Implement and enforce site health and safety standards, conducting safety briefings and ensuring a secure working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Conduct quantity surveying and material requisition, ensuring timely procurement and delivery to the site.
- Address and resolve technical queries and site-related challenges, collaborating with relevant stakeholders for solutions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC License)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction site supervision or project engineering roles
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in the Philippines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
- A strong commitment to safety and quality assurance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or high-rise building projects
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) software
- Relevant certifications in construction safety (e.g., COSH, BOSH)
