Chinneck Construction Company Limited is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our growing team in Kingston, Jamaica. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects from inception to completion. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind our projects, overseeing all aspects of planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders while mitigating risks and navigating challenges inherent in large-scale construction. You will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, scheduling resources, managing procurement, and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant building codes and regulations. A significant part of your role will involve financial oversight, including budget forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting, ensuring fiscal responsibility throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of complex construction projects from conception to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Oversee project budget, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Manage and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and enforce stringent quality control and safety programs on all project sites.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and resolve issues promptly to prevent delays.
- Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, ensuring work is completed to specification.
- Manage the procurement process, including contract negotiation and vendor selection.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in construction project management (minimum 6 years).
