Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians) with various tasks on site.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials (e.g., bricks, sand, cement, tools) to and from work areas.
- Prepare and clean construction sites, removing debris, waste, and hazardous materials.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently as directed.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth using shovels and other hand tools.
- Assist with mixing and pouring concrete, mortar, and other building compounds.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, procedures, and company policies rigorously.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any defects.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues.
- Perform other general labour duties as required by site management.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
