Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labour duties on construction sites, including site preparation and cleanup.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, bricklayers, electricians, plumbers) as required.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Dig trenches, shovel earth, and handle various demolition tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including waste removal.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with the erection and dismantling of temporary structures, such as scaffolding and barricades.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or foreman.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
