Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software issues for end-users.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems (Windows, Linux), applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Provide first-level technical support, responding to help desk tickets, phone calls, and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures accurately in our knowledge base system.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of computer systems.
  • Assist senior technicians with more complex hardware repairs and software deployments.
  • Set up and configure new workstations, including hardware assembly and software installation.
  • Educate users on basic computer usage, security best practices, and common software applications.
  • Ensure data backup procedures are followed and assist with data recovery efforts when necessary.
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies, reporting deficiencies to management.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance IT service delivery and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological trends and best practices in IT support.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software components.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11).
